Revamp Old Table.

Spray Paint.

Wood Stain.

Protection Sealant.

Sand Paper/Sander

I was given a very plain table, I wanted to add some character to it so I DID. I began with washing it first. scrubbed it down as best as i could. I then sanded the whole thing down. I didn't have an electric sander at the time so i did it all by hand. Which took FOREVER!!! I recommend getting an electric sander, they aren't very expensive. once you sand the whole table down you are going to want to wash it again to get all the dust from sanding it off. After it dried i spray painted the legs "blue ocean breeze" from krylon. It started to rain so i had to wait a few days to finish them; but once i did they look great. Next i stained the table top. I used "English Chestnut" by Minwax. Staining wood is very time consuming, and smells horrible. I used a paint brush and evenly coated the entire table. It took 3 Days for it to completely dry. Once it dried I put a protection sealant on it. I used "Polyurethane" by Minwax. It says fast drying but it took a day and a half to dry. Then it was done.

Purple Hair

What you will need:

Bleach.

30 volume developer.

Wella Color Charm T18.

Purple hair dye.

Mixing Bowl.

Gloves.

Vinegar.

Conditioner.

Non-metal Hair clips.

Measuring Cup.

Coconut oil.

I started out with dark brown hair, first thing I did was rubbed in some all natural coconut oil to all of my hair, root to tips. ( I put I little extra on my tips since they were a little dry) The coconut oil will act as a primer to protect your hair from all the super harsh chemicals that come with dying/bleaching your hair.

 

The next thing I did was get "Quick Blue extra strength" bleach from Loreal, and mixed it with "30 volume" developer by Salon Care. Most people will tell you that using that strong of developer will fry your hair but since I was using the coconut oil as a safety guard I thought I would be good. So I just followed the directions on the bleach container, I started at my root first since they were the darkest. by the time I was done bleaching all my roots 15 mins had pasted, I then began to bleach the middle to tips next. I waited an hour then rinsed it out. my hair was this horrible copper color. Two days later I repeated the process. It still wasn't the "white blonde" I wanted, so I bleached it one more time then I used "T18" toner by Wella Color Charm. My Hair was this bright blonde almost white color.

 

I then mixed "Purple Passion" by Beyond the Zone with Conditioner and applied it to all of my hair. I mixed it with conditioner to sort of dilute it. I didn't want super dark purple. I let it set for about 30 mins. I rinsed it out with one part vinegar and one part water.  Which just means half and half. To every cup of vinegar add a cup of water. The vinegar will bring out the hp levels and brighten your hair. It'll also make the color last longer. I did 3 cups of each and then just conditioned my hair, washed it out and my hair was finally the purple I wanted.
